Deborah has been the owner and operator of Wellspring Wellness since 2006, and has helped many clients achieve their health goals: relieving pain, releasing tension, normalizing organ function, stabilizing emotions, and restoring and maintaining well-being.

She graduated from the Eastwind School of Holistic Healing in Iowa City. There she specialized in Asian bodywork and Energy Medicine techniques. Inspired by her own healing journey, Deborah now offers the experience and techniques that were most essential to reclaiming her wholeness.

In addition to her massage therapist credential, Deborah holds bachelors degrees from Iowa State and Upper Iowa universities. She has used her skills in education, social science, and communication arts both in and out of the classroom. Most recently, she served a three-year staff position at MidWest Leadership School and worked as the Director of Religious Education at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Ames.

These positions, combined with her Eastwind training and life-experience provide the foundation for her Wellspring Wellness healing practice.
